Recently, the hoisting of four rectification towers for the 100 KTA green methanol project of Shanghai Huayi Industrial Gases Co., Ltd., which is undertaken by CNCEC-TCC as the general contractor, was successfully completed. This marks the official conclusion of the project's civil construction phase and its full entry into the equipment installation phase.
This project uses biogas as raw material to produce green methanol, which is an important measure of the Shanghai Municipal Government to promote green and low-carbon development. It is of great significance for serving the national "dual carbon" strategy, enhancing the level of Shanghai International Shipping Center, accelerating the cultivation of new-quality productive forces, and seizing the new track of green development.
