Recently, the CO cold box, a core process equipment with independent domestic intellectual property rights for the Fujian SABIC PC&BPA Complex Project undertaken by CNCEC-TCC as the EPC general contractor, has been successfully installed. As one of the key milestones of the project, the successful hoisting and positioning of the cold box marks the achievement of a major phased result in the installation of large-scale equipment for the project. The project construction has fully entered the peak period of equipment installation, laying a solid foundation for the orderly implementation of subsequent construction plans.
As a world-class petrochemical project, the Fujian SABIC Complex Gulai 1.5 MTA ethylene and downstream deep-processing complex is the largest Sino-foreign joint venture project in Fujian Province with a one-time investment. It is also a key project for Sino-Saudi capacity and investment cooperation, a key foreign-funded project under the third batch of national special work teams, and an important practical achievement in promoting the alignment of the high-quality Belt and Road Initiative with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
