Recently, the Tianjin Bohua Terminal Storage Project, EPC-contracted by CNCEC-TCC, successfully completed the air lifting operation for the low-temperature liquid ammonia storage tank 19 days ahead of schedule.
As the project’s key single facility, the cryogenic liquid ammonia storage tank boasts huge capacity, complex techniques, tight precision criteria and stringent risk control demands. Its air lifting constitutes the toughest critical construction step for cryogenic tanks. To tackle this challenge, Tianchen’s project team upheld its core values of Innovation, Responsibility, Professionalism and Win-Win. It deployed full-cycle design-procurement-construction management, coordinated closely with all stakeholders to tackle hurdles, resolved technical and managerial issues such as cryogenic system matching, precise synchronous control of giant tank domes and construction support amid harsh weather, and delivered this high-quality, high-efficiency milestone.
