Recently, the central control room of Juzhengyuan (Jieyang) New Materials Acetic Acid Project—the world’s largest single-train acetic acid facility EPC-contracted by the consortium of CNCEC-TCC and CNCEC-No.16 Construction Co., Ltd.—was successfully handed over. This marks the first completed critical standalone unit of the project, transitioning the entire project to the commissioning and close-out stage.
As the "intelligent brain" of the entire project, the central control room has a total construction area of approximately 2,000 square meters, undertaking core functions including plant-wide process control, safety monitoring, and production scheduling command. During the construction period, facing challenges from persistent rainfall in South China and multi-disciplinary cross working, the project team achieved high-standard delivery with zero accidents, zero defects, and zero delays throughout the construction process by optimizing pipeline layouts and applying a smart construction digital management platform.
This project is a key initiative under Guangdong Province’s "Thousands-Hundreds-Tens Project". Its core components include a 1.5 MTA acetic acid unit, CO cryogenic separation and compression facilities, and auxiliary utilities. Upon completion, it will fill Guangdong’s high-end chemical materials production capacity gap and reshape the new materials industrial landscape of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Next, TCC and CNCEC- No.16 Construction will fully implement CNCEC’s "135" development strategy and "123456" working approach, concentrating superior resources to advance plant-wide commissioning and striving to build a gold-standard benchmark project, contributing to the group company’s high-quality development multiplication plan.
