Recently, the kick-off meeting for the SABIC Kayan Polyethylene Glycol Project, undertaken by CNCEC-TCC as the EPC contractor, was successfully held in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.
As another milestone in the collaboration with Kayan, the project represents a new breakthrough for CNCEC-TCC in expanding its presence in high-value-added chemical products and high-end pharmaceutical materials. The project aligns closely with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Upon completion, it will strongly support the upgrading of Saudi Arabia’s local biopharmaceutical industry and accelerate the development of vaccine technology. The polyethylene glycol produced will also help raise safety standards in cosmetics and personal care products, injecting strong momentum into the development of Saudi Arabia’s strategic emerging industries and high-tech sectors.
