On January 9, the Vietnam Long Son Low-Temperature Storage Tank Project, jointly undertaken by China Tianchen Engineering Corporation Ltd. and PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation and constructed by China National Chemical Engineering No.14 Construction Co., Ltd., successfully completed the first roof air raising operation 24 days ahead of schedule.
The achievement of this key milestone marks a phased victory in the main structure construction of the storage tanks and lays a solid foundation for subsequent work.
The Vietnam Long Son Low-Temperature Storage Tank Project is the first supporting facility project for a petrochemical complex in Vietnam, as well as the first large-scale low-temperature storage tank project undertaken by CNCEC in the Southeast Asian market . As a benchmark project that brings together outstanding enterprises from China, Thailand, and Vietnam in the chemical sector for the first time, it will significantly enhance Vietnam's self-sufficiency in high-end petrochemical raw materials. It also serves as an innovative model for China-ASEAN cooperation in jointly advancing the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) under the framework of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP)
