Liang Junxiang Meets with Economic and Commercial Counselor Li Hongwei at the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia and Visits Southeast Asia Regional Headquarters

From June 30 to July 2, Liang Junxiang, General Manager of CNCEC-TCC, visited the Southeast Asia Regional Headquarters (Indonesia Office) for a research visit. During his visit, he met with Li Hongwei, the Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia. The company’s Deputy General Manager, Ji Li, accompanied Liang during the visit.

During the meeting with Counselor Li Hongwei, Liang introduced CNCEC-TCC’s overall operations and development in Indonesia, and expressed gratitude for the ongoing support from the embassy and the economic and commercial office. Liang emphasized that Indonesia is a key overseas market for CNCEC-TCC, with vast market potential and development opportunities. He hoped that with the embassy’s support, the company could further contribute to the high-quality development of the “ The Belt and Road Initiatives”.

Counselor Li Hongwei welcomed Liang's visit and affirmed the achievements CNCEC-TCC had made in Indonesia. He acknowledged that Indonesia is the largest economy in ASEAN and that the cooperation between China and Indonesia is strong. He encouraged CNCEC-TCC to leverage its strengths to align more closely with Indonesia's development strategies and industrial plans, playing a role as a source of technological innovation and contributing to China's central enterprise responsibilities.

 During the visit to the Southeast Asia Regional Headquarters, Liang also organized a meeting where he highlighted the vibrant economy and abundant project opportunities in Southeast Asia, which are key markets for the company's overseas expansion. He outlined several points: 1) strengthen human resource development in overseas branches, increasing the localization of personnel; 2) continue to track and align with high-end projects; 3) expand operational strategies and design the extension of the industrial chain; 4) prioritize compliance and anti-corruption efforts, reinforcing awareness of ethical conduct and risk prevention measures.

The staff at the Indonesia office pledged to take the visit as a starting point to unite their efforts and focus on further improving operations in the Southeast Asia region.

The overseas business department, the Indonesia office, and relevant personnel from the Indonesia Jinxiang Coke Project participated in the research activities.
