Liang Junxiang Meets with Commercial Counselor Lu Anqi of the Chinese Consulate General in Almaty and Conducts Research and Guidance at the Kazakhstan Branch
On December 4, Liang Junxiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CNCEC-TCC, visited the Kazakhstan branch for research and guidance. During the visit, he met with Lü Anqi, the Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Consulate General in Almaty.
During his meeting with Counselor Lü Anqi, Liang Junxiang introduced the development history of CNCEC-TCC in Kazakhstan and expressed his gratitude for the continuous support and assistance provided by the consulate and the Economic and Commercial Section. Liang noted that Kazakhstan is a key overseas market for CNCEC-TCC, with vast market space and enormous development potential. He expressed the hope that with the guidance and support of the consulate and Economic and Commercial Section, the company can further promote the high-quality development of the "Belt and Road" initiative.
Counselor Lü Anqi warmly welcomed Liang Junxiang’s visit and highly appreciated CNCEC-TCC’s achievements in Kazakhstan. Lü emphasized that Kazakhstan, as the largest economy in Central Asia, is rich in resources and has been a long-time friendly cooperative partner of China. With a deep foundation for cooperation between the two countries, he expressed hope that CNCEC-TCC would continue to leverage its strengths and align with local market needs, while deepening its engagement with Kazakhstan's development strategy and industrial planning. He also encouraged the company to use its technological leadership to further enhance the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
On the same day, Liang Junxiang conducted research at the Kazakhstan branch and held a symposium. During the meeting, Liang emphasized that Kazakhstan is an important national market for the company and that it should closely follow the group’s strategic plan, focusing on Kazakhstan and expanding its influence in Central Asia. He also outlined the following requirements for the development of the Central Asian market:
1. To implement the group’s "One Body, Two Wings" overseas strategy and fully promote the "T+EPC" model, driving market activities through technological and management innovation.
2. To develop new types of productive forces based on local conditions and gradually transition from project execution to integrated production and operation.
3. To actively integrate internal and external resources as well as local regional resources to provide solid support for market development and project execution.
4. To pay attention to talent development, ensuring a long-term development plan for the workforce.
Liang emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of personnel and property abroad and noted that the company headquarters must always pay attention to and actively solve any difficulties or concerns faced by personnel stationed overseas, creating a good working environment for them.
The research activities were attended by relevant leaders from the International Business Department, Kazakhstan Branch, and related project managers.
