Kick-off Meeting Held for Shenhua Baotou Coal-to-Olefins EPC Project
The kick-off meeting for the Shenhua Baotou Coal-to-Olefins Upgrading Demonstration Project’s plant-wide system and utilities EPC contract, undertaken by CNCEC-TCC, was grandly held at TCC.
It is reported that the project will construct an annual production capacity of 2 million tonnes of methanol (pure basis) and 750,000 tonnes of polyolefins with supporting ancillary facilities. Utilizing domestically produced key equipment, it simultaneously advances smart plant construction and optimizes Phase I utility facilities for efficient resource utilization, holding significant importance for promoting technological self-innovation and industrial upgrading in China’s coal chemical sector.
