Successful First-Time Energization of 10kV Caustic Soda Substation in Hubei Yihua Caustic Soda Project
Recently, the 10kV caustic soda substation of Hubei Yihua New Energy Co., Ltd.’s 200 KTA caustic soda relocation and energy-saving renovation project, EPC-contracted by CNCEC-TCC, was successfully energized on the first attempt. This achievement not only laid a solid foundation for subsequent work including single-unit commissioning, electrical and instrumentation equipment testing, and full-plant control system commissioning, but also created favorable conditions for the project’s mechanical completion.
As the project’s power hub, the caustic soda substation bears the critical responsibility of supplying power to all electrical loads within the facility. Its installation and commissioning faced tight schedules and heavy workloads. Confronted with this pivotal milestone, the project team implemented scientific planning and meticulous deployment, proactively extending working hours to adopt a "7+0" and "day-and-night shift" model. Daily verifications were conducted on the substation’s "three checks and four determinations" and construction punch list items. Ultimately, through the team’s efficient coordination and close collaboration with specialists, the substation energization was successfully completed.
